Food guide
Is it carnivore?
Animal foods only — meat, fish, eggs, and optional dairy. No plants. Browse common foods and see if they fit the plan, based on our Carnivore rules.
Honest con: Very low fibre, thin evidence, and hard to sustain socially. Not suitable in pregnancy or with kidney disease. Calories still decide fat loss.
What to eat
Beef, lamb, pork, poultry, fish, eggs, and optional dairy if you tolerate it. Keep the plate animal-only. Fat and protein cover calories; plants are off the list.
Watch / avoid
Vegetables, fruit, grains, legumes, nuts, plant oils, sweets, and processed snacks. If it grew in the ground, it is out on this pattern.
